After arguing with his girlfriend over her stimulus check, an Indiana man killed three adults and one child.
Official court documents released Tuesday additionally stated that the shooter, 25-year-old Malik Halfacre, confessed to the killings. Halfacre arrived to his girlfriend’s home Saturday, where their 6-month old child, Tomeeka Brown, Anthony Johnson, Dequan Moore and 7-year-old Eve Moore lived.
Halfacre admitted to arguing with his girlfriend because he wanted a portion of the stimulus check. Then, Halfacre allegedly shot the four victims. According to ABC News, Halfacre also shot his girlfriend and took their child to his sister’s house, along with the money.
He later fled to a friend’s house in Indianapolis, where authorities arrested him and took him into custody Sunday. Authorities charged Halfacre with murder, attempted murder and robbery.
According to WGN 9, he is being held at the Marion County jail without bond.
