On Nov. 30, 2020, a double-homicide murder occurred at the T&N Market in Mt. Dora, Florida. Trinh, 56, and Nguyen, 47, were owners of this convenience store. Both were shot multiple times shortly before 9 p.m. Nguyen died on the scene and Trinh died three days after in the hospital. The couple leaves behind two sons.
Recently, Mt. Dora Police Department arrested Undrea Lashaye Dixon for lying to law enforcement about the incident. Dixon, 42, told investigators she entered the store and saw nothing. However, Dixon was spotted on video surveillance entering the store, and later returned to the scene the night of the robbery/murder.
After being taken into custody, she told investigators that she heard the couple in distress. She failed to render aid to the victims or summon help and left the store and returned home.
She has been charged with providing false information to law enforcement in a capital felony and has not been given bond.
