Harris County Deputies are investigating the death of a man who may have fallen victim to Tulsa’s frigid temperatures.
If so, this death will be the first one reported in relation to the abysmal weather.
The 60-year-old homeless man was discovered before noon on Monday. The initial review concluded that the man’s cause of death was the extreme weather conditions. An autopsy is underway to determine the exact cause.
Tulsa Police are working to determine the identity of the deceased individual.
The homeless man was discovered frozen. The only protection between him and the elements had been a sleeping bag.
He was found less than a block away from the Center of Hope and the Salvation Army.
