A newly-released audio recording reveals that prosecutors are planning on charging Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell with conspiracy to commit murder.
“I’m going to tell you right now we are going to be filing conspiracy to commit murder charges against both Chad and Lori,” said Madison County Prosecuting Attorney Rob Wood during a conversation with Vallow’s sister, Summer Shiflet. “And we aren’t shy about that.”
Vallow and Daybell are in jail on numerous charges relating to the deaths of Vallow’s children, Tylee Ryan, 16, and Joshua “J.J.” Vallow, 7, after their remains were found on Daybell’s Salem, Idaho property in June.

Vallow’s charges include desertion and nonsupport of dependent children, resisting or obstructing officers, criminal solicitation to commit a crime, contempt of court, and willful disobedience of court process or order.
Daybell has been charged with two felony counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence, and two felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence.
