Fort Collins Woman Goes Missing

Investigators in Fort Collins, Colorado, are turning to the public for help in the search for a 32-year-old hiker.

Christine Cummings was last seen Dec. 29. According to Coloradoan, a family member contacted the police Friday when they had not heard from her. The police arrived at Cummings house in Fort Collins, but she and her 2015 black Jeep SUV were missing. The family believes she had gone for a hiking trip and are concerned for her safety.

Cummings is 5 feet, 7 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. An avid hiker, she frequents Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain National Parks. The police have contacted the staff for the two parks, but have not received any information. Cummings is also known to hike Crosier Mountain, Twin Sisters Peaks, Coyote Ridge Trail and Round Mountain National Recreation Trail.

Cummings’ license plate number is EOL263. According to Coloradoan, the “J” in the rear logo of her vehicle is gone. Her friends have created a spreadsheet to help the community keep track of the locations being searched.
