An officer named Hiroyuki Matsuo in Fukuoka, Japan is suspected of pimping out a then 17-year-old girl to customers back in March. Matsuo was arrested Tuesday and charged with violating the anti-prostitution law.
Matsuo who then worked at the Kokurakita Police Station reportedly met the teen girl through an acquaintance and then made arrangements for her to provide sex to two male customers at a business hotel, according to Tokyo Reporter. Matsuo made arrangements with the customers through social media.
The teenage victim was taken into protective custody in April after details regarding the prostitution emerged. The case is still under investigation.
