Authorities have arrested and charged an Aurora man with first-degree murder after a body was found in a renovated home on Halloween, according to WGN 9.
A 911 call was placed around 9:20 saying there was possibly a dead man inside the home that was under renovation.
The body was identified as 51- year- old Mario Ying.
A witness said they were suspicious about a man later identified as Carlos Fonseca-Gutierrez, 40, living about half a mile away from the crime scene, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Fonseca-Gutierrez has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of armed robbery, according to WGN 9.
He is scheduled to appear on a bond call Tuesday.
