Police have arrested a woman after fatally shooting a man on Thursday in Boise, Idaho. Around 4 am officers responded to a Boise home on North Ancestor Avenue, Thursday morning.

According to US News, officials found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics tried performing lifesaving procedures on the victim but died as a result of his gunshot wounds.

After officials determined his death a homicide, they arrested 45-year-old Josina Regan. Police believe that Regan shot the unidentified man in his home multiple times, leading to his death.

She was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with a felony count of 2nd-degree murder. According to KTVB, investigators are still trying to figure out the motive for the deadly shooting. The Ada County examiner will reveal the victim’s identity after contacting his family.

Investigators ask anyone with any information regarding the shooting in the area of North Hampton Road and West Eshelman Street to call the Ada County Department at (208) 377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at (208) 343-COPS (2677).

As of today, Regan is held at the Ada County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
