A grad student was found dead outside a shell gas station on Monday morning. Alexander Nwogu, 23, had been a recent engineering graduate of Virginia Tech. According to WUSA9, Alex had taken a tech consulting job at Ernst and Young in northern Virginia at the time of his murder.

According to The Roanoke Times, police received gunfire reports before arriving at the 4900 block of Connecticut Avenue Northwest in Washington, D.C. Around 1:30 am officials, pronounced Alex dead of a gunshot wound outside a 24/7 shell gas station.

Washington Police are currently searching for two suspects in connection with the murder. They are described as African American and possibly wearing New Balance shoes, according to WDBJ7.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward for any information regarding the murder of Alexander Nwogu. If you have any information regarding the investigation, police ask you to call (202) 727-9099.
