Florida police have arrested the man responsible for the Tuesday night shooting at Jacksonville’s Amazon fulfillment center.

Around 7 p.m. on Tuesday night, Daisean Thomas Biffle shot and killed a woman before turning the gun on himself. Shortly after police arrived on the scene, Biffle was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition. Both the 22-year-old suspect and his victim were Amazon employees.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) believes that the shootings were the result of a domestic issue rather than an active shooter situation. Biffle was officially charged on Wednesday night with second-degree murder and will be transported to jail on a $750,000 bail once he recovers from his injuries.

JSO records show that the police have responded to the Pecan Park Road Amazon center 182 times since the beginning of the year. Although most of the incidents were minor in nature, there was an armed assault in the beginning of June.

In addition, Tuesday’s event marks the second fatal shooting that has occurred at the Jacksonville center. No arrests have been made regarding the June 29 ambush shooting that killed a 20-year-old job applicant outside of the center.
