A missing 25-year-old man was found dead on Tuesday afternoon. Police discovered Jonathan Amerault’s body in Atkinson and Gilmanton Academy Grant in Coos County, New Hampshire. A native of Keene, Amerault, was last seen on Saturday, September 19. He was reported missing on Monday, September 21.
According to US News, the autopsy revealed that someone had shot Amerault in the head. Examiners ruled his death a homicide. This evidence led officials to arrest 30-year-old Armando Barron and his wife, 31-year-old Britany Barron of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, reports MSN. On Thursday, Britany was arrested and charged with three counts of falsifying physical evidence during the investigation. Police finally arrested and charged Armando with capital murder on Friday.
Boston News explains that Barron lured Jonathan Amerault to Annette Wayside Park in Rindge, New Hampshire. Police now believe that the shooting occurred between September 19 and September 20. Investigators have yet to release any information regarding the couple’s motive for his death.
