Monday a woman’s body was discovered face-up in a gutter in Kumamoto, Japan. Police have now identified her as Chisato Narahara, 35, a university researcher for Kumamoto University’s Joint Research Center.

Wednesday police were able to identify Narahara after her mother recognized the sketches of her daughter on TV. Narahara’s autopsy revealed she had died from suffocation due to strangulation of the neck. The investigation is on-going and police suspect murder.
